Our competitive program is designed for dancers who want to push their skills, grow as performers, and be part of a committed, supportive team. We emphasize strong technique, teamwork, and a positive environment where dancers encourage one another and work toward shared goals.
Teams attend local competitions and conventions, gaining valuable stage experience and industry insight. Every other year, dancers also travel to a national competition, creating exciting opportunities for growth and team bonding.
Focused training, uplifting coaching, and a culture of respect make our program a place where dancers can challenge themselves and truly thrive.

Schedules are designed around each student

Our Story
Makenzi Dwyer grew up within the walls of this studio, dancing under the guidance of its former owners, Sally Doerr and her daughter, Nicole Doerr (pictured here)—a remarkable mother-daughter team who built a space rooted in love, artistry, and passion for dance. From a young age, Makenzi was shaped not only as a dancer, but as a person, by their dedication and belief in every student who walked through the doors.
Nicole Doerr, Makenzi’s mentor and lifelong inspiration, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 2, 2023. Her impact, however, continues to live on in every class taught, every dancer encouraged, and every dream pursued within the studio. In 2024, Makenzi purchased the studio from Sally Doerr, taking on the profound honor and responsibility of carrying forward their legacy.
Today, Makenzi is proud to teach in the very place where her own dance journey began. With deep gratitude and love, she is committed to honoring Sally and Nicole by nurturing future generations of dancers—instilling the same passion, excellence, and heart that defined the studio from the very beginning.

To honor Nicole's memory and the lasting impact she made on so many, we are proud to offer the Nicole Doerr memorial scholarship. This is given annually to a dancer who exemplifies the passion, dedication and kindness that Nicole embodied. Through this scholarship we hope to continue and honor her tradition of nurturing talent and inspiring young dancers to reach their fullest potential.

This is our way of honoring Flex Point's past and inspiring its future.
